Super Green Smoothie
Life can become so crazy busy – in the mornings. But, i have challenged myself to create new delicious smoothies. There are so many health boosting combinations, such as fresh fruits, vegetables. I always like to venture out and seem to never run out of ideas.
There is nothing fancy about this energy – boosting green smoothie. No strange ingredients, you can’t pronounce. No protein powders, no added sweeteners, no nut butters. Just produce love!
I guarantee you’ll fall in love with this simple, green smoothie. The bonus, is that it keeps me full – something i struggled with when i am rushing to get to university, and don’t eat the right breakfast to kick start my day. Another option, if you just simply have no time in mornings, is you can blend your green smoothie the night before and store it in your fridge. When ready to drink, give it a good shake before you open. YOUR GOOD TO GO!
Energy Boosting Green Smoothie
1 handful Loose Spinach
1/2 Green Apple
1 Handful Kale (stems removed)
4-5 Fresh Mint Leaves
1 Cup Melon
1 Cup Kiwi
1 Cup Coconut Milk
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until green and smooth. You may want to add in more or less coconut milk, depending on consistency of smoothie!
Tip: Want your green smoothie to be extra chilly? Freeze your favorite fruits like ripe bananas (peel first), grapes, pineapple or berries. Just make sure to add your frozen greens straight to the blender.
